Dr. Stein was on the teaching faculty at NYU Langone Medical Center as an assistant clinical professor and teaches residents in the operating room. He also is on the assistant faculty for national education for the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) and assists in teaching surgical skills to residents from around the country. He was on national committees for the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) including the compliance committee and the membership committee. Dr. Stein is also involved in industry consulting to assist companies with development of specific surgical equipment prior to public release. This involves working with industry engineers and cadaver surgery to improve operating room equipment designs for orthopedic sports medicine surgeons.
